Biography

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where I work with Prof. Pheng-Ann Heng. I received my Ph.D. degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Science (UCAS), in the joint program at ShanghaiTech University in 2022, advised by Prof. Shenghua Gao. I also work closely with Prof. Jiang Liu. Before that I received my B.Eng degree in 2017.


Recently, I have been involved in the TRS project (Institute of Medical Intelligence and XR, HK$50 million) led by Prof. Pheng-Ann Heng. In specific, I work as the coordinator in the AI part led by Prof. Qi Dou.


My research focuses on:

  • AI in Healthcare: AI for ophthalmology, multi-modality learning, medical image analysis.
  • Efficient AI: semi-supervised learning, weakly-supervised learning.
  • Trustworthy AI: out-of-distribution detection, uncertainty estimation, human in the loop.
